You need to have a "USB Dongle"
ie. the (XSKEY)installed.

You can buy them off ebay secondhand

BUT WHATS THE POINT WHEN LOGIC PRO 8
DOESNT NEED A DONGLE AS APPLE AND LOGIC HAVE REMOVED THE SECURITY

dont waste you time unless you
have damaged your original cd.
