Acoustica Premium 4 extends the the standard version of the
full-featured audio editor Acoustica with support for multichannel
audio formats such as 5.1 and 7.1 surround. Additionally, the
integrated CD burner in Acoustica Premium 4 provides precise control
over the details of audio CD productions, such as pause lengths,
index markers and CD-TEXT fields. The processing tools from the
following Acon Digital Media plug-in suites are tightly integrated in
Acoustica Premium 4, thus providing a simplified workflow and a large
range of professional quality tools for mastering, editing and sound
design:
Studio Clean (VST and DirectX)
Audio restoration tools, including noise reduction, click and crackle reduction, restoration of clipped audio recordings and high frequency harmonic synthesis (gives new life to dull sounding recordings).
Studio Time (DirectX)
Professional quality time stretching and pitch shifting (transposition of key).
Studio Necessities (VST and DirectX)
Mastering and sound design tools, including equalizer, dynamic processing, limiter, reverb, chorus, flanger, phaser and multi-tap delay.

Multi-band compressor
Get more presence and perceived loudness out of your recordings using the new multi-band compressor.
Enhanced de-crackle
The integrated de-click and de-crackle tool was improved and contains a new parameter for crackle sensitivity.

Convert file formats, change sampling format or process multiple files using the new Batch Processing Wizard.
FreeDB support
Download artist and title information from the internet when ripping CDs.
Define loops for MIDI samplers in wave files
Create sampler compatible wave files with looping information.
Create cross-faded loops
Get rid of clicks when loops are repeated with the loop cross-fader.

Enhanced mixing with clipboard content
A single keyboard shortcut adds named regions and labels
Ctrl+R and Ctrl+L open a dialog box that allows the name of a new region or label to be defined.
